This concept was created by Paul Meyer in the 1960s. The idea is for you to rate yourself in each section (below) drawing a line across the number you feel you are currently at, ten being very successful in that area. This can be used as a starting point for discussions about what is going well and which areas of your life might need some work and possible coaching support:

Different areas can be used, for example i personally use:

  1. Health & Fitness;

  2. Wealth;

  3. Knowledge & skills;

  4. Purpose & meaning;

  5. Relationships & connection;

  6. Adventure, curiosity, playfulness.

What else should be there or what is missing?

Once you have done the rating, a bigger picture will emerge and it could be an eye opener. Sometimes we think we know everything about ourselves but writing things out on paper can be surprising.

Obviously the lower scores are worth exploring but also the higher ones - what is going well? what kind of strengths are you using there?

Feel free to play with this tool and get in touch if something is worth exploring more through coaching! laatsingmar@gmail.com
