Coaching can be defined in many ways. It seems rather obvious and yet still hard to explain. As the first post in my blog I will of course try to explain it and give some clues that resonate with me currently.

The aim of coaching is to deepen the learning and forward the action. Coaching is a managed conversation between partners - the coach and the client. The coach helps the client explore their topic by asking questions, listening and using intuition. The aim of coaching is to raise awareness and promote self-responsibility.

In truth, people come to coaching when they are stuck - it can be a feeling of having low confidence, a feeling of not being able to make decisions or wanting to reach a certain goal (get back to the gym, find a new career path etc). Making a change is at the heart of coaching along with everything that is stopping us from making it like our own limiting beliefs. All of this is explored in skilful coaching.

I as a coach believe in human potential and also that all of the answers lie within us and not so much in the outer world. Our inner world creates our outer world, inner world being our thoughts, rules, beliefs - whatever you wish to call them.

Change is not easy and can be "messy", it takes time. So coaching requires commitment. I am committed to helping you on your path forward, if you are too then drop me a line!
